From Corporate Girlie to Cookie Baker

Since 2013, weekends in our kitchen meant one thing: baking with my two boys. It was our sacred family tradition. Flour on the counters, laughter in the air, and cookies cooling on the rack.

Then life changed. After a protected leave from my fintech career, I didn't receive approval to return. I was left picking up the pieces of my life, wondering what came next.

The kitchen became my safe space.

I started recreating our family favorites and sharing them with the world. Within 90 days, we hit over 150,000 views. Our family was in awe of what God can do!

When we analyzed the data, one thing was clear: people were obsessed with our cookies. They were asking if we sold them. Begging for recipes. Sending DM after DM. On Instagram, they asked where we were located. On Facebook, followers turned family messaged every single day: "Keep going until the cookies website is live."

So we tested. Night and day for 60 more days, we perfected our signature cookies. We shipped them to family and friends. We ate a lot of cookies. And then came our first real order.

Within 15 minutes of receiving the package, the customer was calling.

I could hear people in the background asking, "Where did these cookies come from?!" The customer's mom got on the phone. She spoke life into me, shared her blessings, and said, "I love you for creating these cookies."

At that moment, my heart was so full with the love of God. I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.
